If you are a first time visitor to Phu Quoc island, you may get the distinct impression that many of the hotels and resorts are brand new, which by the way isnât far from the truth. Phu Quoc Island continues to open its’ doors to more tourists each year, however the island still has a very undisturbed feel with many remote areas to discover.

Mid rage: better than budget and not quite the full luxury of the top end, a wide range of great places to choose from all around Phu Quoc island.

Helpful Advice
The majority of hotels and resorts are scattered on the western side of the Island, near the main town of Duong Dong along Long Beach. Accommodation ranges between basic bungalows to a more recently opened luxury boutique resort and spa type developments like the La Veranda Resort which is owned by the Grand Mercure hotel group or Long Beach Ancient Village for maximum comfort and facilities.
Please note, we don’t take bookings to maintain our independence and recommend you contact the hotels and resorts listed on the following pages for booking information. All Top End and most mid range places take bookings, otherwise many budget places will be waiting at the airport to offer accomodation when they have availability. Top End resort bookings can also be made via a number of hotel provider websites which cover the Asian and Vietnamese region.
If you intend to visit during the high season from October to April we recommend you book your accomodation and flights ahead of time, particularly during Chinese New Year around February when most places are fully booked. Enjoy your stay on this diverse and lovely island.
